Duke Energy is one of the largest electric power holding companies in the country, serving 7.6 million customers in the Carolinas, the Midwest and Florida. Keeping the lights on is serious work, but the company has a lighter side.
From island to city.
Duke Energy asked us to capture some of their community outreach. The production took us to Masonboro Island to follow a group of Wilmington students as they learned about their environment and ecosystem.
We also spent a day at an elementary school in Charlotte, where a group of Duke volunteers built an outdoor learning environment, start to finish, in one day. It was amazing to watch it come together so quickly.

Duke Energy reached out to us to capture some of their community outreach efforts. They are involved with several philanthropic and charity organizations that improve the quality of life for everyone involved. The production took us to Masonboro Island to follow a group of Wilmington students as they learned more about their environment and ecosystem. We also spent a day at a disadvantaged elementary school in Charlotte where a group of Duke volunteers built an outdoor learning environment, start to finish, in one day! It was amazing to see it all come together so quickly.
